CENTER OF ACTIVITY
The community’s center of activity is at the northern end of the island, where the sky bridge joins it with the mainland. Known as Time Square, this quaint shopping  and dining district is marked by pedestrian walkways, shade spreading palms and street entertainers, and is just a quick 10 minutes from Waterside.

ISLAND DINING
Enjoy your favorite beverage outside under an umbrella on the deck of a chickee bar. Or duck into the sliding glass doors of a gulfside eatery for a refreshing lunch in the comfort of air conditioning. You’ll find island dining to be everything from beachfront informal to casually elegant. And of course, as befitting an island where one of the main industries revolves around the shrimp fleet, seafood is as fresh as it is abundant.

ISLAND SHOPPING
Shell shops, surf shops, unique gift boutiques and souvenir stands are here to strike your fancy, as well as supermarkets and grocery stores to fulfill your everyday needs.

CITY SERVICES
Transportation on the island is a snap. You are never more than 15 minutes from the next trolley that travels the main boulevard. Fort Myers Beach has its own multiplex movie theater, art galleries, a library with more than 10,000 volumes, medical facilities, public elementary school, and as a newly incorporated town – complete municipal services.  You can even hop on a high-speed boat that ferries passengers for day trips to Key West or board a ship at a Fort Myers Beach dock for an evening of offshore gambling.
